Fraternal Order of the Seedy Fellows (aka FOoSF)

What's FOoSF? FOoSF is a group of hosta enthusiasts who have taken the "next step" into hybridizing. Collectively, FOoSF is a group of diverse and talented individuals from various regions of the US. Many of our members have won national and regional awards, and the group, as well as individual members are creating a name for themselves in the hosta world. We are proud to be members and think it's worth your while to check out the

American Hosta Society

Your best source of information as to what's going on in the world of Hostas. This site provides a variety of great resources, including general hosta information, upcoming events such as the Annual Hosta Auction and much more. You'll also find information on joining the AHS, (members will receive a free subcription to the American Hosta Journal). See what the AHS is all about at:

The American Hosta Society

Hosta Library

You'll find this to be an invaluable reference for any and all information related to hostas. The library includes an extensive database of hostas, including photos, as well as a wealth of information related to hybridizing. This is definitely a site worth looking at. Naylor Creek Nursery

A great retail nursery specializing in hostas, based in Chimacum (say that 10 times fast...), Washington. Not only are the owners, Jack and Gary, great supporters of our FOoSF group, they're knowledgeable, helpful and simply a delight to work with. Find out for yourself by checking out their website at:

Walters Gardens

Walters Gardens is the leading wholesale grower of perennials in North America. We and other members of FOoSF are proud and pleased to be involved in their focus on the hosta market. (Our hybridizing goal is to someday "make the cut", and have one of our plants selected by Walters as part of their "Designer Hosta" program). Walters is a wholesaler, but very likely is a supplier to your favorite local nursery. Take a look at their website and see what they have to offer at:
